Diana, Princess of Wales died tragically in Paris on 31 August, 1997, but she still remains an icon.
Darryn Lyons was a paparazzi photographer living in London. He photographed Diana on a number of occasions to celebrate her life, he presented a photographic tribute to her at the Elephant and Castle Hotel in Geelong.
Having missed my opportunity to view the exhibition in Geelong; I discovered it was on display in Melbourne at the Fringe Pizzeria and Bar.
Featuring 70 photographs of Diana from early age, growing up, her courtship and wedding to Charles; the Prince of Wales, charity advocate and her greatest love as a mother.
It’s understood that Mr Lyons has images taken of Princess Dianna after her fatal crash as a royal enthusiast he has decided not to release them.
There’s also a beautiful catalogue which accompanies the exhibition.
The exhibition is on display until 30 April.
