Melbourne Symphony Orchestra presents DreamWorks Animation in Concert

I’m a fan of animated movies, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will be presenting Dreamworks Animation in Concert for two performances only at Arts Centre Melbourne‘s Hamer Hall on 24 September, 2016.

You can relive the adventures of your favourite Dreamworks characters from Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon, Puss in Boots, Bee Movie, The Croods, Rise of the Guardians, Over The Hedge and Monsters v’s Aliens.


The scenes will be projected in HD onto the big screen as the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra play live.

This event celebrates more than 20 years of animation and music scores written by Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson-Williams, John Powell, Alexandre Desplat, Alan Silverstri, Danny Elmann and various others.

Presented by Dreamworks Animation and CineConcerts, the concert will be conducted by  Nicholas Buc.

If you would like to hear the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra perform the hits from Dreamworks Animation, this concert is for music and movie fans of all ages.
