Megan Hilty

Megan Hilty is best known in Australia for her role as Ivy Lynn in the American musical drama television series Smash.  She will beperforming on 8 June, 2016 at Art Centre Melbourne’s Hamer Hall.

Accompanied by a four-piece band including musical director and pianist Matt Cusson, her husband Brian Gallagher on guitar. Megan released a debut solo album It Happens All The Time in 2013.

MeganHilty650x370After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University, Megan made her Broadway debut as Glinda in Wicked.  She has just finished a season in the Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of the hit comedy, Noises Off.  Megan has performed as Lorelei Lee in the Encores! production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and 9 to 5: The Musical portraying Doralee Rhodes. 

This is the third year that the Art Centre Melbourne will present a Broadway star with previous performers Kristen Cheonweth in 2014 and Audra McDonald in 2015.
