Melbourne’s Oz Comic Con

Australia’s premier pop-culture expo Oz Comic Con will be taking place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 11 to 12 June, 2016.

Headlining this gloriously geeky, collectible and cool event is star of Torchwood, Doctor Who and Arrow John Barrowman, Lucy Lawless from Xena: Warrior Princess will be only  appearing on Saturday. From Terminator 2: Judgement Day is Robert Patrick.  Australian actors Dan Ewing, Eliza Taylor and Tim Pocock. Other fan favourites include David Anders, Monica Rial, Callum Blue, Rose McIver, Paul McGillion, Ingrid Oliver, Timothy Omundson, Rachel Luttrell, Samuel Anderson, David Giuntoil, Jake Abel and Jed Brody.  Dana DeLorenzo is only available on Saturday while Stephen Hunter is only available on Sunday.

Guests will take part in professional photography and autograph opportunities during the two day expo as well as exclusive Q&A panels.

Fans will be able to meet guests from the comic and publishing world including Nicola Scott, Paul Mason, Marianne de Pierres, Mike Choice, Isobelle Carmody, Wolfgang Bylsma, C.S. Pacat, Tom Taylor, Katie Houghton-Ward, Tristan Jones, Stewart McKenny, Jason Palmer, Andrew Constant, Doug Holgate, Dean Rankine, Colin Wilson, Marc Noble, Michel Mulipola, Paulo Siqueira, Craig Bruyn, Livio Ramondelli and Mike Choi.

Oz Comic Con will have other exciting and exclusive activities including Cosplay, Family Adventure Zone, Artist’s Alley. The Victorian final of the Australian Championships of Cosplay will be held during the weekend with the winner heading to Brisbane for the national finals in September. You get the opportunity to meet Cosplay heroes K & Aly, Ivy Doomkitty and Variable.
